In the end, we won five ballots at the NACDL competition.  We tied with two other teams for a place in the semi-finals, so they did a coin toss.  Unfortunately, we lost the coin toss.  But we were then able to relax, have a fabulous time at Guava-ween, hang out with the extremely nice UConn team, wander around Tampa, EAT, and just have some fun.  It was also great to meet Geoff's dad and stepmom and hear some truly crazy tales from Geoff's early days as a federal public defender.  All in all, it was a wonderful trip, and I can't wait for the next competition!
